Kit Needed

Students will have needed to complete the Foundation Construction course to be able to progress to the advanced course as the 3 foundations made will be needed for the Advanced Wig Making or have knowledge of foundation construction


  • Wig block - Size 56cm or 58cm (wooden or canvas)

  • Cradle/headstand

  • Drawing matt

  • Knotting/ventilating hook Size 4-5 or small/medium curved needle

  • Knotting/ventilating holder

  • Wig pins or blocking pins

  • Scissors

  • 3 foundations (off the face, side parting and centre parting)

  • 3x 175-200g of hair (any hair can be used for practice but i would advise human as its less slippery. This can be sourced from hair companies or wefted hair can also be used.)
