This course will cover the fundamentals of wig making to include: Tools and equipment Blocking up a foundation for a wig 3 wigs ( side parting, centre parting and off the face wig) Density Knotting patterns Partings Crowns and Swirls Under knotting Hair lines

Students will have needed to complete the Foundation Construction course to be able to progress to the advanced course as the 3 foundations made will be needed for the Advanced Wig Making or have knowledge of foundation construction
Wig block - Size 56cm or 58cm (wooden or canvas)
Cradle/headstand
Drawing matt
Knotting/ventilating hook Size 4-5 or small/medium curved needle
Knotting/ventilating holder
Wig pins or blocking pins
Scissors
3 foundations (off the face, side parting and centre parting)
3x 175-200g of hair (any hair can be used for practice but i would advise human as its less slippery. This can be sourced from hair companies or wefted hair can also be used.)
